The Heritage of Pure Dates
Delivering authentic, cold-chain preserved Grade A dates from sacred palm groves directly to homes, mosques, and families across South Africa.
Why Dates Market was Born in South Africa
For years, finding genuinely fresh, succulent dates in South Africa was difficult. Many commercially available dates sat on retail shelves for months, losing their soft caramel texture, delicate aroma, and rich moisture content.
Dates Market (PTY) LTD was founded with a singular purpose: to supply South African consumers with premium, fresh-harvest dates that honour centuries of palm cultivation traditions. We cut out unnecessary middlemen and ensure strict temperature controls from farm harvest to doorstep arrival.
100% Halal & Organic

Grade A Caliber
Hand-selected jumbo & large fruit
Grown in Sacred Groves
Our dates are carefully harvested from celebrated agricultural regions:
- Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah (Saudi Arabia): Authentic Ajwa of Medina and Mabroom dates harvested directly from Medina's blessed soil.
- The Jordan Valley & Kalahari Desert: World-renowned climates producing Jumbo Medjool Dates and Karsten Kalahari Medjools with golden caramel notes.
- Al-Qassim (Saudi Arabia): The kingdom's heartland for Royal Sukkary Rutab Dates, celebrated for their melt-in-your-mouth sweetness.
